The Loving-kindness meditation or ‘Metta’ meditation is way to practice the four qualities of love – friendliness (Metta), appreciation and joy (Mudita), compassion (Karuna), and equanimity (Upekkha).
It is about self-love and compassion for ourselves, and for others.
Loving-kindness meditation is a healing meditation and works on a deeper energetic level. It is free from any goal, expectations or bindings. Just experience and feel what it is for you.
In this meditation, I added the words from the book of Anam Cara, as a gift from mother earth for you.
May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the oceans be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours.
